Research Proposals

The Fisher Institute assists in financing study projects within areas of the Institute's activities, after the Academic Committee of the Institute has approved the proposed research. 

  

The procedure for financial assistance approval includes: 

  

·        Submitting a detailed research proposal. 

·        Submitting a request for assistance to finance the research. 

·        Preliminary classification by one of the Institute's Centers, according to subject matter of the study.  

·        Approval by the Academic Committee of the Institute. 

  

 

The format for a request for financial assistance:  

1. 

  

The Basics of the Request:  

  

a. 

Subject of the research proposed. 

  

b. 

Background / General explanation. 

  

c. 

The applicant/s (names and details). 

  

d. 

Estimated time period until completion of the research. 

  

e. 

Total cost of the research and assistance required.  

  

  

  

2. 

  

The applicants (particulars of each applicant): 

  

a. 

Full name. 

  

b. 

Main details. 

  

c. 

Military Service. 

  

d. 

Education and diplomas. 

  

e. 

Aviation background (if any). 

  

f. 

Previous work and research. 

  

g. 

Experience and qualifications in the field of the requested study. 

  

  

  

3. 

  

The Research (details and data): 

  

a. 

The necessary objective / achievements. 

  

b. 

Academic guidance (if available) and by whom.    

  

c. 

Additional studies in the field, and their evaluation. 

  

d. 

Sources and cost of information (if any). 

  

e. 

Additional advantages of the requested research. 

  

f. 

The applicability of the study and the expenses involved. 

  

g. 

The stages of the study / dates of submission, means and so forth. 

  

h. 

Details of cost breakdown. 

  

i. 

Additional or partial financing. 

  

  

Conditions of Association.

  

Submission of a full and detailed request, accompanied by approvals, certificates and documents. 

  

Consent to the rights of the Fisher Institute to publish the study and the method of using such study in the future. 

  

Consent in writing to the implementation of the study by the applicant’s employers. 

  

Contract to be signed between the parties as a pre-condition to receiving assistance.
